End of the year and Christmas workshop looming

Released On 8th Oct 2021

We have had a week at home and a week in Yorkshire, which has to be one of the most beautiful places we have been to, the Peak District is stunning and this was our view every morning.  We crammed in as many places as we could including Hebden Bridge, Buxton and Ripon all well worth a visit

I returned home to more deliveries of fabric including Moonstone from Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts - I love the mix of greys and pinks,

The Christmas workshop is looming and this morning I found some Christmas hats for us all to wear whilst sewing which along with mince pies, mulled apple juice and background music will make it very festive.  So far I have patterns for a table runner, wall hanging, cushion, tree decorations, christmas gnomes, table skirt and christmas flower garland.  There are two spaces left so if you are interested let me know.

I have one more Sewing Bee and one Open Day before the end of the year so I am in the process of making gifts, fabric and thread bundles, gift baskets.
